Mary Evelyn (Speakman) Parker

Mary Evelyn (Speakman) Parker, 72, of Circleville, went to be with our Lord on August 1, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 13, 1945, the daughter of the late James and Bernice (Gilpen) Speakman.

She is survived by her daughters, Dixie (Scott) Jordan, of Circleville, Teresa Hardman, of Circleville, and Jamie (Brian) Frank, of Kingston; grandchildren, Heather (Jeff) Bly, Jimmy Hardman  (Jackson Glaze), Scottie (Hannah) Jordan, and Shae Jordan; great-grandchildren, Ella Mae Jordan and Levi Bly; brother, Frank (Lou) Speakman, of Circleville; and her special dogs, Georgie and Sissy.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Parker and siblings, Alfred Speakman and Jeanann Adams.

Mary dedicated her life to caring for veterans as a VA residential care sponsor for 44 years. She was also a member of VFW and Fraternal Order of Eagles 685.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Lynn Summers officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
