Mary Louise (Hinton) Crosby, 83, of Laurelville, passed away from this life on February 19, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on April 9, 1941, in Laurelville, the daughter of the late Harold and Doris (Routte) Hinton. On January 25, 1958, she united in marriage with her beloved husband, Damon Eugene Crosby, who preceded her in death on July 6, 2007.
Mary is survived by her beloved children, Cathy (Jeff) Anderson, of Laurelville, Mark (Angie) Crosby, of Laurelville, and Kurt Crosby, of the home; grandchildren, Joshua (Lindsey) Anderson, Marcy (Phillip) Aquino, Andrea (Andrew) Gobel, Dillon (Madelynn) Crosby, Tonya Crosby, and Dustin Crosby; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Luke Anderson, Miles and Phoebe Aquino, Emmett and Ellie Gobel, and Clayton and Payton Crosby; sister, Karen (Glen) Smith; brother, Donald (Carolyn) Hinton; special friend, Judy Cain; and numerous other family and friends who she cherished.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Steven Eugene Crosby; sisters, Rita (Tom) Seymour and Beverly (Ronnie) McNichols; and brother, Ronnie (Shelia) Hinton.
Mary was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Logan, where she worked for many years. Mary cherished family time, especially through activities like gardening, dining out with loved ones, and attending her grandchildren's sports and activities. She had a joyful and fun-loving personality, with a laugh that was both sweet and contagious. Mary will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering support of her family, and her genuine warmth toward everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel loved and valued, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Lynn Summers officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi.
