Martha (Martie) Jones

Martha (Martie) Jones, of Chillicothe, passed away on August 2, 2016. She was born in Chillicothe to the late John and Effie (Hamilton) Robinson.

Martie served in the Marine Corps for three years during the Korean Conflict.

On return from the service, she worked at the Mead Corp where she met L. Nelson Jones. On December 11, 1955, they were united in marriage. They have two sons: L. Todd (Dana) Jones, of Chillicothe, and Troy A. Jones and his best friend, Kelly Ryan, both of Kamuela, HI; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother and one sister.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A private graveside service will be held in Hallsville Cemetery. The HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, is serving the family. Condolences can be made on Martha's online guest registry at www.hillfhkingston.com .
