Margaret Ann (McNichols) Good

Margaret Ann (McNichols) Good, 87, of Kingston, passed away on September 28, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 10, 1937, in Hocking County, the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Ida (Betts) McNichols. On March 24, 1956, she united in marriage with her loving husband of 61 years, Paul Frederick Good, who preceded her in death in 2017.

Margaret worked at General Electric and retired from Zane Trace Local School. She was a member of the Green Twp. Fire Department for 49 years and her favorite pastime was playing cards with her siblings and family.

Margaret is survived by her loving children, Paula (Don) Jarrell, Paul Michael (Rose) Good, and Marsha (Jimmy) Cantrell; grandchildren, Donnie (Jolene) Jarrell, Nathan (Cory) Jarrell, Kevin (Danica) Jarrell, Dustin (Kate) Good, Paul Jonathan (Sarah) Good, Heath (Susie) Good, Cameron (Bailey Mohr) Cantrell, Tricia Hammond, Ashley (Jeremey) Dennis, and Holley Hammond; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Bush, Tina Disbennett, Robbye (Jerry) Myers, Kathy (Rick) Hemminger and Linda Weber, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry McNichols; sister-in-law, Sue McNichols; brothers-in-law, Dale Disbennett and Fred Bush; and niece, Angie Getz.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston.
