Lucy J. Arledge
Lucy J. Arledge, 98, formerly of Kingston, entered into Heaven Sept. 12, 2012. She was born May 8, 1914 in Pickaway County the daughter of Charles and Rebecca Rush Martin. Lucy married Robert W. Arledge in 1932, which preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Arledge assisted in the family business of Robert W. Arledge Plumbing and Heating. More than that, she was a faithful loving wife and mother. She adored her grandchildren and loved and was an encouragement to them all.
Surviving are a daughter, Joanne (Gene) Patrick; son, Ronald (Linda) Arledge; grandchildren, Rebecca (Tom) Davis, Dan (Chris) Patrick, Michael (Donna) Patrick, R. Anthony Arledge and Tonya (Shaun) Boler; great grand children, Natalie (Steve) Timmons and Allison Patrick, Erin (Justin) Ward, Jonathan (Kristen) Davis, Adam (Alicia) Davis, Mogan (Mack) and Isabella Patrick; Gracie Gardner-Arledge, Step grandchildren, Shannon ( Mike) Garrett, Justin Nutter, and Jarrod (Amy) Nutter; great great grandchildren , Addison, Ayla, Claire and Graham Davis; step great grandchildren, Cory Carpenter, Samuel, Jordan, Chase, and Lorelei Nutter. Maddison Wagner and Sydney Hooker.
Funeral services will be Saturday 10 a.m. at the Kingston United Methodist Church with Dr. Doyne Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
