Lucy E. (Davis) Wolfe

Lucy E. (Davis) Wolfe, 95, of Chillicothe, went to be with our Lord on March 29, 2018 at Berger Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1923, in Pickaway County, the daughter of the late Pearley and Dessie (Detillion) Davis. On December 24, 1948, she was united in marriage with her loving husband, Ralph D. Wolfe, who preceded her in death on October 13, 1988.

Lucy is survived by her niece, Polly Cramer, of Cincinnati; nephew, Gail Wolfe, of Circleville; special cousins, Michael (Gina) Davis, and Jenna (Kevin) Blackburn, and their daughter, Elaynna, all of Chillicothe, and faithful friends, Bob and Mark Gray, Dean and Janet Good, Roger Graves, and her entire church family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lucy was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey (Davis) Smith; and nephew, Howard.

In 1962, after 20 years as a secretary of Centralia, she started to work in the Auditing Dept at the Ohio Dept of Transportation and retired in 1983 after 21 years at ODOT. She was a lifelong member of Crouse Chapel United Methodist Church. Lucy's longtime goal was to enjoy reaching her 95 ^th birthday; a proud achievement she accomplished earlier this month.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 4 at 3:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
