Lowell Nelson Jones
Lowell Nelson Jones, 78, of Chillicothe, passed away August 24, 2014. He was born on January 23, 1936, in Hallsville, to the late Dwight and Tessie (Jones) Jones. On December 11, 1955, he married the former Martha Robinson, who survives.
Also surviving are sons, L. Todd (Dana) Jones, of Chillicothe, Troy A. Jones and best friend Kelly Ryan, both of Kamuela, Hawaii, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, two sisters, and a brother.
Nelson served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Mead Corporation where he worked for 43-1/2 years.
In accordance with his wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A private grave side service will be in Hallsville Cemetery by Hill Funeral Home, of Kingston.
