Lowell Dean Horn

Lowell Dean Horn, 64, of Chillicothe, passed away on November 22, 2025 at his residence following a battle with COPD. He was born on June 14, 1961, in Inez, Kentucky, the son of the late Edward and Joyce (Maynard) Horn. On September 7, 2013, he united in marriage with his beloved wife, Gina (Hawk) Horn, who survives.

Lowell is also survived by his children, Jenny (Jerry) Brown, Cheyanne Hartshorn (Justin Platt), Coalton (Rissy) Hartshorn, and Aubrey (Colin) Barrows; nine grandchildren, Kierston, Jax, Josiah, Branson, Scarlett, Sylvia, CJ, Coalson, and Cataleya; siblings, Danny Horn, Rose Horn, and Lee (Shirley) Horn; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Lowell was predeceased by his brothers, Allen "Red" Horn and Bobby Horn.

Lowell earned his Bachelor and Master's Degrees in Business Management from the Ohio Christian University, Circleville. Lowell spent his career working in HVAC in the local Sheetmetal Union. He loved attending horse races at Scioto Downs and enjoyed watching football, especially the Miami Dolphins. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Jimmy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Chillicothe. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill's.
