Leonard Martin Glispie

Leonard Martin Glispie, 67, of Chillicothe, passed away on October 5, 2025 at Hopewell Grove Nursing Home, Chillicothe, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 18, 1958, in Washington Court House, the son of the late Leonard Monroe and Ruby Jane (Goble) Glispie. On June 11, 1977, he united in marriage with his beloved wife of 48 years, Deborah Ellen (Hall) Glispie, who survives.

Leonard is also survived by his children, Joshua (Lori) Glispie, Ernest (April) Glispie, James (Ashley) Glispie, Daniel (Jamie) Glispie, Brandi Cox (Michael Bliss), and Ruby (Darrell) Bowe; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, April (Eric) Fowler; mother-in-law, Joy Hall; 4 sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ernest Hall and brother, Terry Glispie.

Leonard attended Westfall High School and, while he was a "Jack of all trades," his primary occupation was a Block Mason. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He was also a proud husband, father, and papaw.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Burial will follow in Springlawn Cemetery, Williamsport, with military honors. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill's.
