Leathel A. (Shoemaker) Russell

Leathel A. Russell, 74, of South Bloomingville, passed into Heaven on March 22, 2015. She was born on Sept. 3, 1940, the daughter of the late John W. and Elana (Morrison) Beam.  She was also predeceased by husbands, Donald Clayton Shoemaker Sr. and John Richard Russell; son, Daniel Eugene Shoemaker; brothers, Jack, Bud, Russell, & Floyd Beam; and sister, Marie Shriver.

Surviving are sons, Donald, John (Lynn), George (Brenda) and Charles Shoemaker; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; her Church family and special friend, Shirley Stevens.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Saltcreek Valley Community Church with Pastor James Vandagriff.  Burial will follow in the Hallsville Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.
