Lavonne May Wolfe

Lavonne May Wolfe, 85, of Chillicothe, passed away on January 1, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Sacramento, California on March 14, 1936.  She is remembered by her family and friends as someone who was hard-working, organized, dependable, and self-sacrificing.

Lavonne is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Tim) Wolfe-Brooks; three siblings: Darlene Weaver-Johns, Ben Joe (Donna) Collier, Jr., and Diana Kay Collier-Dierks; seven grandchildren: Jeremy Brooks, Brandy (Michael) Brooks-Schuch, Courtney (Nick) Wolfe-Trott, Heather Brooks, Cameron Wolfe, Avery Bailes, and Felicity Brooks; and four great-grandchildren:  Serena Clever, Aleanah Trott, Elliott Brooks, and Addison Trott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Wolfe; her son, Matthew Wolfe; her mother, Evelyn Heskett-Collier; her stepfather, Ben Joe Collier, Sr.; her father, Fred Weaver, Sr.; a brother, Fred Weaver, Jr.; a sister, Geraldine Weaver-Davis, two brothers-in-law:  Jack Johns and Heinz Dierks; and a sister-in-law, Anita Weaver.

From her loving sister, Darlene:  "My sister, Lavonne, was the best sister you could ask for.  If you needed help with something, she would be there, if possible.  God loves you, Lavonne, and so do I."
