Larry Eugene Blankenship, 67 of Kingston lost his battle with cancer peacefully Feb. 25, 2012 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born Feb. 4, 1945 the son of the late Harry and Mildred Thacker Blankenship. Larry was retired from YSK Corp.
He survived by his 3 sons, Larry, Jr., Steven and Dean Blankenship; daughter, Monica Sullivan; 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Harvey) Gabor, Michigan, Betty Blankenship, New York, Carolyn Blankenship, Arizona, and Mary Holdren, Chillicothe; brothers, Harry (Judy) Blankenship, Jr., and Van (Patty) Blankenship, both of Chillicothe; very special friend, Jeanne Blair, whom he loved. Larry was also predeceased by an infant brother, nephew and best friend, Robert Rapp.
The family would like to thank many friends and family for their prayers and support; Chillicothe Nursing & Rehabilitation and the Angels who are the nurses, aids and staff at Incare Hospice.
