Kevin "Kogie" Alan Woodgeard

On January 23, 2026, Heaven gained another angel as Kevin "Kogie" Alan Woodgeard, 51, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at Adena Medical Center. Kogie was born on October 29, 1974, in Circleville, the son of the late James Edward Woodgeard and Juanita (Doug) Harper, who survives.

Kogie is also survived by his children, Dallas Woodgeard (Jeff), Mackenzie Woodgeard, Lydia Woodgeard, Johnny Woodgeard, and Keara (Dalton) Clifford; grandchildren, Raymond and Maggie Karmosay and Waylon Clifford; siblings, James (Janet) Woodgeard and Carol (Tom) Chaney; step-siblings, Anissa "Punkie" Reffitt, Cheryle Ashmore, Brandy Barber, and Danyel Anderson; girlfriend, Heather Kerns-Steiner; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his father, Kogie was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Edward Woodgeard.

Kogie was a 1993 graduate of Logan Elm High School. He was an avid MOPAR fan and loved his old dodge truck and had a passion for motorcycles. Kogie had an authentic loving and caring spirit mixed with a great sense of humor. He was able to be hysterical without even trying. He will also be remembered as a hard worker and talented handyman. He will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Burial will follow in Prairie View Cemetery, Whisler. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill's.
