Kevin Michael Garrett Kevin Michael Garrett, 25, of Kingston, passed away on May 22, 2013, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born May 28, 1988 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Patricia Vanderpool. He married his High School sweetheart, Jessica Lutz, October 6, 2012, who survives. Kevin is also survived by his parents, Kevin and Sherry (Hinton) Garrett of Kingston; brothers, Tracy and Seth Garrett; sisters, Tricia and Jessica Howard; mother and father-in-law, Melissa and Michael Lutz; sister-in-law, Autumn Lutz; niece, Natalie Garrett; nephew, Hanley Ballard; paternal grandparents, Sue and Samuel Garrett; maternal grandparents, Carolyn Vanderpool and Shelia Hinton; special cousins, Rob Garrett and Levi Brokaw; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kevin is preceded in death by maternal grandfathers Jerry Vanderpool and Ronnie Hinton. Kevin graduated from Logan Elm High School in 2006 and received his RN license from Ohio University Chillicothe. Funeral services will be held on May 26, 2013 at 10AM at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.  Burial will follow at Green Summit Cemetery.  Calling hours will be May 25, 2013 from 2-8pm at Hill's.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Berger Hospice or the National Brain Tumor Society.
