Kenneth W. Wissinger

Kenneth W. Wissinger, 82, of Laurelville, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife following an extended illness. He was born on May 4, 1943, in Clymer, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Burton Ezekial and Ella Mae (Dishong) Wissinger. On February 3, 1995, he united in marriage with his beloved wife, Cathy Lynn (Shoemaker) Wissinger, who survives.

Kenny is also survived by his children, Susan Davis, of Circleville, Tony (Kristy) Weyrauch, of Laurelville, and Shauna Weyrauch, of Newark; grandchildren, Tyler (April) Heron, Brad Heron, Steven (Armanda) Wissinger, and Cameron Wissinger; great-grandchildren, Wesley Heron, Xander Heron, and Carter Adams; brother, Willie Wissinger, Harold “Buck” Wissinger, and Donald Wissinger; special nephew, Michael Hudzick; special friends, Mark Manbeavers, Kenny Cox, and Brent Wagner; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his son, Rick Wissinger; sisters, Nellie Isenberg, Florence Hudzick, and Bertha Bealonis; and brothers, Richard Dishong and Carl Wissinger.

Kenny was born and raised in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was a long time business owner and pillar of the Kingston, Ohio community. He owned and operated numerous successful businesses over the years including Kingston Cardinal Market, Kingston Marathon Gas Station, and Kenny’s PBF Restaurant. He will be greatly missed.
