Karen Joan Park

Karen Joan Park, 81, of Laurelville, passed away on December 12, 2024 at Valley View Care Center, Frankfort, following an extended illness. She was born on November 29, 1943, in Londonderry, the daughter of the late Thomas Wesley and Laura Ann (Pettit) Park.

Karen is survived by her beloved children, Edwin Lee Stewart, S. Joan (Luke) Lagore, Trent Stewart, and David (Vicki) Stewart; grandchildren, Christian Stewart, Vanessa Stewart, Blaize Radabaugh, Charlie (Lynette) Stewart, Brandon Moccabee, Jason Moccabee, Josh Harris, and Jeremy Harris; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Connie Davis and Ann Morris; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her siblings, Ethel Faye (Richard) Congrove, Delores Kay (Wayne) Hines, Betty (Ed) Dozer, and Earl Thomas Park; and brother-in-law, Jack Davis.

Karen attended Allensville High School and worked at the U.S. Shoe Factory, Chillicothe. She will be remembered as a strong and sassy person who loved her family dearly. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will certainly be missed.

No services or visitation have been scheduled at this time. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston.
