Judith Lee (Hill) Chandler

Judy Chandler passed away June 28, at The Caring Touch of Ohio.  She was born in Circleville on December 30, 1942, to Loring and Ruth Hill, both of Kingston.  A graduate of The Ohio State University, Judy was a teacher, retiring from the Pickaway Ross Career and Technology Center in 2004.

Surviving children include: Lee Petty and wife, Beth (Duvall), of Chantilly, Virginia; Kara (Petty) and husband Shane Schooley, of Kingston; and Barry Petty and wife, Jennifer (Shaw), of Circleville. Also surviving are sisters, Alice (Ewing) Giffin, of Wooster; Carol (Steve) Ewing, of Waverly; Theresa (Todd) Colopy, of Kingston; and brother, Dale (Kathy) Hill, of Kingston. Grandchildren include Sarah, TJ, and Zach Petty; Ava Schooley; and both Kimberly and Bret Petty. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sue Gay, husband, Randy Chandler, and infant son, Terry Petty.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family may contribute to Hospice of Circleville or the Parkinson's Foundation in Judy's memory.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 1, from 2-8, and Thursday, July 2, from 4-6 at Hill Funeral Home, 24 West Ing St., Kingston, OH 45644.  A memorial service will be held at the Kingston Presbyterian Church on Thursday, July 2, at 6:30.
