John Carlos Crum

John Carlos Crum, 74, of Circleville, passed away on August 14, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born, in Inez, KY, on September 10, 1942, the son of the late Carlos and Kennie (Webb) Crum. On October 1, 1993, he united in marriage with his loving wife, June (Adams) Crum, who survives.

John is also survived by his children, John M. (Denita) Crum, Samantha Crum, Mary (Jim) Davidson, Kim (Bill) Martin, and Ken (Susan) Roark; brother, Russell Crum, and sister, Rosie Salmons.  John was also loved and honored by 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, William S. Crum. He attended Inez Schools, Columbus Public Schools, and graduated from West High School in 1961. Over the years, John worked for Simmons Company, Sealy Corporation, and owned Sam Matthews Mattress Company and J&J Homes.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Fellowship Church (28840 Logan Elm Rd., Circleville) with Pastor Ken Roark Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Springbank Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the church. Services have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston.
