John Ryan Chaffin

John Ryan Chaffin, 37, of Kingston, passed away on November 4, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus, after battling a lifelong illness. He was born on May 5, 1987, in Columbus, the son of John L. Chaffin, who survives, and the late Heidi Butterbaugh.

John is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Linda Chaffin; sister, Winter Faith (Tristan) Manbevers; uncle, Charles Andy (Cricket) Chaffin; two special nephews; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his mother, John was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Larry Chaffin. He enjoyed computers and loved to sing karaoke.
