JoAnne (Pritchard) Brokaw

JoAnne (Pritchard) Brokaw, 82, of Laurelville, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2023 following an extended illness. She was born September 23, 1940, in Kingston, the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Thomas) Pritchard. On March 23, 1957, she united in marriage with her loving husband, Donald Brokaw, who survives.

JoAnne is also survived by her seven children, Lee (Rose) Brokaw, Jackie Karshner, David (Ruby) Brokaw; Jeff (Bridget) Brokaw, Trisha (Mike) Shaw, Debbie (Bob) Hattey, and Steve (Cathy) Brokaw; grandchildren, Ryan (Samantha) Brokaw, Angie (Jeff) Hines, Kyle (Becca) Hartley, Kayla Wiggins, Chelsey Baum, Melissa Karshner, Stephanie Karshner, Haley-Jo Shaw, Stacey (Cody) Brokaw, Jacob Brokaw, Emily Hattey, and Conner Brokaw; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carlene Vovilla, Betty Higgins, Diane Stebelton, Ilene McNichols, and Robert Pritchard; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, JoAnne was preceded in death by her grandson, Jonathan Shaw; six siblings; and son-in-law, Michael Karshner.
