Jerry Lee Noble
Jerry Lee Noble, 83, of Laurelville, passed away on September 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness. He was born on February 19, 1941, in Leistville, Ohio, to the late Gerald and Wanda (Jones) Noble. On June 29, 1963, Jerry married his loving wife, Patricia (Detillion) Noble, who survives him.
In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his children: Scott (Shirley) Noble and Jeri Lynn (Jamie) Rose. Grandchildren: Tara (Jeremy) Roll, Tyler (Haley) Noble, Ethan (Elizabeth) Rose, Shane Poling, Jalyn and Gabriel Rose. Great Grandchildren: Skylar and Levi Roll, Roman Noble, Jerrod, and Anthony Rose, and his canine companion, Ellie Mae Noble, his cherished Boston Terrier. Siblings: Sharon Kay (William) Prentice, Karen Sue (Daryl) Krahn, James (Annette) Noble, S.R. "Tub" (Catherine) Noble, Ralph "Dink" Noble. Sisters-in-law: Betty (Larry) Sater, Janice Thompson, and Josie Noble. Special friends: Stanley "Art" and Patti Murphy, and numerous nieces and nephews, whom he cherished.
Jerry was preceded in death by infant daughter, Jody Kay; and his brothers, Glenn, Darrell, Robert, and Gerald "JR" Noble; Sister, Becky Monroe; and Grandson, Kohl Michael Noble.
Jerry was a remarkable individual with a wide array of talents. He was an elaborate storyteller who always had a witty comeback in the holster, a trait which he passed on down the line to his grandchildren. He was deeply committed to his various roles, excelling as a devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather. Before immersing himself in the bus business, Jerry spent many years as a dedicated truck driver, gaining valuable experience and knowledge of the road. In 1980, he realized his dream of owning his own business and became the proud owner of Noble Tours & Charters. Jerry lived and breathed for his tour bus company. Throughout his business, he embarked on countless journeys, covering millions of miles and visiting all 48 states, fueling his unwavering passion for organizing charter trips. Along his travels, Jerry forged numerous enduring friendships within the tour industry, leaving a lasting mark on all those he encountered.
Jerry was a saved man of Christ and was baptized surrounded by family on September 18th. He was also a member of the Kingston Masonic Lodge #624, and the 757 American Legion.
The family would like to thank National Church Residence Hospice, in Waverly for their excellent care and compassion during this time of need. Kim Buchanan, Tyler Leeth, and Victoria Henkel for their excellent nursing skills, and always being a phone call away to help.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor James Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 - 7 p.m. at Hill's with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. Condolences and floral gifts can be made to Jerry's online guest registry at www.hillfhkingston.com.
