Jeff Allen Mead

Jeff Allen Mead, 37, of Beaver, entered into Heaven on November 15, 2024 at his home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on December 28, 1986, in Chillicothe, the son of Donald Mead and Brenda (Danny) Warner Hatfield, who survive. On August 4, 2023, he united in marriage with the love of his life, Jennifer (Kellough) Mead, who survives.

Jeff is also survived by his daughters, Destanie Mead, Keelie Mead, and Isabella McComis; brothers, Joshua (Christina) Mead, Jeremy (Amber) Mead, and Joseph Mead; sister-in-law, Phoeba (Charles) Hughes; special uncle and aunt, John (Carrie) Mead; nieces and nephews, David, Makayla, Emily, Logan, Brionna, Trista, Charlie, Terry, Landen, Carolina, NovaLee, Faith, Grace, Charles, Josie, and Carter; great-nephew, Elijah; special cousin, Michael Mead; special friends, Jay Pease, Larry McKinnon and Justin Reisinger; beloved canine companion, Ares; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

Jeff was a 2005 graduate of Piketon High School and worked at Kenworth Truck Company, Chillicothe for 7 years. He was a faithful member of Real Joy Community Fellowship. Jeff was an avid sport card collector and member of Count Down Collectables, which was a hobby he was originally introduced to by his grandfather. He also loved playing video games, dragon ballz, and watching sports.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Real Joy Community Fellowship (1954 Hospital Road, Chillicothe, OH 45601) with Rev. Tony Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery, Chillicothe. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston.
