Janet Arlene (Yates) Frazier

Janet Arlene (Yates) Frazier, 73, of Londonderry, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She resided with her son, Jimmie Lee (Sherry) Frazier Jr. in Londonderry. She was born on December 26, 1951, in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Wilbert and Ruth (Farbee) Yates. On October 4, 1969, she united in marriage with her beloved husband of 41 years, Jimmie Lee Frazier Sr., who preceded her in death on January 9, 2010.

Janet is survived by her beloved children, Jimmie L. (Sherry) Frazier Jr., Tracey Reynolds, Chris (Cate) Frazier, and Angie (Dave) Walsh, all of Londonderry; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored her; siblings, Joseph (Linda) Yates, of Ray, and Theresa Ware, of Londonderry; cousins, Joyce Huff and Louise Peoples, with whom she shared great memories.

In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by three grandsons, Shawn, Justin, and Joseph; and brother, David Yates.

Janet was an amazing lady with great love, wisdom, and compassion. She loved her family and Jesus more than words can say. She will be missed by so many. She was an active member of the Body of Christ Valley Friends Temple, in Londonderry, where she supported her son, Jimmie, for the last 6 years. She believed in God's vision for our ministry.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Sherry Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery, Londonderry. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill's.
