James M Whitmore

James M. Whitmore, 15, of Londonderry, went home to be with The Lord April 24, 2015 at Children's Hospital. He was born on Sept 13, 1999, the son of Lewis and Rhonda (Hinton) Whitmore.  James was a freshman at Vinton County High School.

He is survived by his mother, Rhonda (Hinton) Whitmore; father, Lewis (Shawn) Whitmore; brother, Lewis Whitmore; grandmothers, Shelia Hinton and Mable Whitmore; and great grandmother, Betty Hatzo.  James was predeceased by grandfathers, Ronnie Hinton and Howard Whitmore.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 4 p.m at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.  Friends may call at Hill's Tuesday 2 to 8 p.m.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation, 700 Children's Dr., Columbus, OH, 43205 in memory of James Whitmore.
