James Wesley Conrad

James Wesley Conrad, 51, of Nelsonville, formerly of Circleville, passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at O'Bleness Hospital, Athens.  He was born, in Circleville, on February 20, 1966, the son of Carl Clifford Conrad Jr., who survives, and the late Rosetta Maxine Leasure. On May 14, 2005, he was united in marriage with his loving wife, Julie (Howson) Conrad, who survives.

Jim is also survived by his son, Jarod Conrad (fiancé, Emily Bowles), of Frankfort; daughter, Sarah Whitmore, of Nelsonville; brothers, Carl C. (Chrissy) Conrad III, of Laurelville, and David (Drema) Conrad, of Laurelville; father and mother-in-law, Merle and Alice Howson, of Nelsonville; and numerous cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jim was a 1984 graduate of Circleville High School. Jim worked as a correction's officer and in the field of law enforcement for many years. He was a passionate NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt, and enjoyed expanding his extravagant assortment of collectables. Jim will certainly be remembered for his exceptional sense of humor and love of life.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Jim Pollard officiating . Burial will follow in Dunkard Hill Cemetery.
