Jacqueline Sue (Brokaw) Karshner

Jacqueline Sue (Brokaw) Karshner, 67, of Kingston, passed away on February 19, 2026 at Adena Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 18, 1958, in Circleville, the daughter of the late Donald and Joanne (Pritchard) Brokaw. On April 27, 1980, she united in marriage with her loving husband, Michael Leo Karshner, who preceded her in death on December 21, 2018.

Jackie is survived by her beloved children, Melissa Karshner and Stephanie Karshner; grandchildren, Blake Michael and Aleksis Nicole; siblings, Lee (Rose) Brokaw, David (Ruby) Brokaw, Jeff (Bridget) Brokaw, Trisha (Mike) Shaw, Debbie (Bob) Hattey, and Stephen (Cathy) Brokaw; mother-in-law, Ruth Karshner; and numerous other family members and friends whom she cherished.

Jackie graduated from Zane Trace High School Class of 1976. She worked for several years at Kmart of Chillicothe as a sales associate, Bath and Body Works, and Tecumseh Outdoor Drama. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. As hobbies, she enjoyed doing cross stitch, gardening, and crafts. She will be deeply missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor James Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill’s.
