Irl McKnight

Irl McKnight, 89, of Kingston, left us early in the morning of May 21, 2015. He leaves behind his loving wife of sixty-six years, Mary; son, Terry (Pam) McKnight, of Pensacola Florida; daughter, Melinda (Ronald) Mullins, of Columbia, South Carolina; son, Ron (Pam) McKnight, of Kingston; eight grandchildren, Tim Mullins, Terry McKnight Jr., Christina McKnight, Billie Jo McKnight, Bradley McKnight, William McKnight, Amy Norpoth, and Sakura McKnight; sixteen great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Geneve Jones, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was born on February 14, 1926, the son of the late Wyatt and Leona (Tisdale) McKnight.  Irl was a Navy WWII veteran and retired truck driver.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Prairie View Cemetery.  Services are provided by the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.
