Howard Paul Elliott

Howard Paul Elliott, 72, of Chillicothe, passed away on October 13, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 19, 1950, in Bainbridge, the son of the late Paul and Joan (Smith) Elliott.

Howard is survived by his soulmate and partner of 44 years, Judy Jones; children, Paul Clifton and Paula Clifton; step-children, Kelli (Rod) Bensonhaver and Bill (Sally) Jones III; grandchildren, Matthew and Dylan Clifton and Levi and Leslie Lewis; several step-grandchildren; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Howard was also preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy L. Stodgel and Arlene Elliott.

Howard was a graduate of Paint Valley High School and worked as an Environmental Specialist at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center for over 30 years. Howard proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering outside, hunting, and spending time at his hometown property in Bainbridge.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 12:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery, Chillicothe.
