Helen L. (Derexson) Donegan

Helen L. (Derexson) Donegan, 90, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2017 at Franklin Woods Nursing Home. She was born on October 29, 1927, in Wayne Township, the daughter of the late Leslie and Alta (Jackson) Derexson.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Mark) Hammond, son-in-law, Rev. Monte R. Cole; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Dorothy Wrightsel and Roger (Nancy) Derexson.

Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Donegan; son, Paul E. Conkel; daughter, Pat Cole; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; and 2 grandchildren. She was a member of the New Horizon U.M. Church, Columbus.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Monte R. Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery.
