Harold "Cliff" Harber Jr.

Harold "Cliff" Harber Jr., 69, of Chillicothe, was ushered into his Heavenly home on Friday, January 24, 2025, ending a long battle with heart and kidney disease. He was born January 17, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Harold C. and Evelyn (Wilburn) Harber Sr..

Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Donna (Frazier) Harber; children, Heidi (Jeff), of Oak Hill, Jarrod (Helen), of Wellston, and Amos, of Jackson; sisters, Kathy (Shawn) Boyd and Penni Root, of Whitehall; brothers, David (Anna) Harber, of Lockbourne, Chuck (Martha) Harber of Obetz, and Glen Harber, of London, United Kingdom; mother-in-law, Leta Frazier; sister-in-law, Cassie (Tom) Weatherhead, of Orient; also, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a huge number of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends whom he cherished.

Cliff worked many jobs over the years, but his favorite occupation was as a motorcoach operator, which he retired from after 28 years. He ministered in song and sermon for 35 years, including the last 9 years he was the pastor at Pleasant Hill Community Church, Laurelville. One of his greatest joys in life was the years he traveled with Donna and their children singing in churches.

Anyone who knew Cliff, knows of his love for the Lord, family, music, fishing, and he was always up for a good laugh. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his wisdom, love for all, and the way he tells a story will live on in the hearts of those he has known. We will miss the laughs, the love he has always shown, and the blessing he is to all he came in contact with. But we know it's not goodbye, just a see ya later to this great man.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 12:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Community Church (15290 OH-327, Laurelville, OH 43135). Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Laurelville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
