Guy Lloyd Norman
Guy Lloyd Norman, 82, of Hallsville, went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 2, 2020 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 19, 1937, in Hallsville, the son of the late Charles and Marie (Brokaw) Norman.
Guy is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (Steele) Norman; son, Jamie (Kersten) Norman, of Columbus; daughter-in-law, Sarah (Park) Norman; grandchildren, Justin Norman, Tyler Norman, Conner Norman, Mackenzie Norman, Colin Norman, and Casey Norman; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Don Norman and family, Lee Norman and family, David and Carolyn Sams and family, and Nancy Norman and family; special cousin, Phyllis Limle; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.
In addition to his parents, Guy was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Linn Norman.
Guy was a 1956 graduate of Centralia High School, received his Associate's Degree from the Circleville Bible College earning a Pastor's License, attended OSU studying bookkeeping, and attended Pickaway Ross Vocational School studying business. Guy worked in various positions throughout the years including general contracting and remodeling, automobile sales, correctional officer at Chillicothe Correctional Institution, restaurant management, and hospital manager. Guy worked to maintain roads in Colerain Township, volunteered to restore and maintain the Hallsville Cemetery, and managed the 1985 Sesquicentennial of Hallsville. Guy was devoted to his faith and reading scriptures in the Bible while he was able.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Hallsville Cemetery with Pastor Phil Demint officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Condolences and floral gifts can be made on Guy's online guest registry at www.hillfhkingston.com.
