Grace Louise (Jenkins) Bennett

Grace Louise (Jenkins) Bennett, 78, of Chillicothe, passed away on August 24, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 12, 1944, the daughter of the late Walter and Bertha (Purdue) Jenkins.

Grace is survived by her beloved sons, Larry Allen (Mindy) Bennett, Jr., of Kingston, and Michael W. (Emmajean) Bennett, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Cody Bennett, Madison Bennett, Kylie Bennett, Emily Bennett, and Makayla Bennett; great-grandchild, Wrenlee Bennett; siblings, Joe (Mary) Jenkins, Donnie (Georgia) Jenkins, Charlie Jenkins, Jack Jenkins, Robert (Lisa) Jenkins, Ernie (Barb) Jenkins, John Jenkins, Clara Jenkins-Hoey, and Rosie (John) Landrum; many nephews and nieces; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, Grace was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Weaver, James Jenkins, Theodore Jenkins, and an infant brother; and special nephew, Jerry Weaver.

Grace was a 1963 graduate of Centralia High School and she went on to earn multiple Associate Degrees in Business Administration from Southeastern Business College. She worked for several years at US Chemicals of Circleville, but her true calling was being a homemaker and caregiver. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery.
