George Edwin Schultz

George E. Schultz, 91, of Londonderry, passed away on October 24, 2015 at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center following a long illness. He was born on July 7, 1924 in Milton, West Virginia, son of the late Orville and Selvia Schultz.

He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Bobby Lee and Patricia Schultz and late wife, Jean Knight. He is survived by his wife, Mary (McWhorter) Schultz; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lisa Schultz, of Puyallup, Wash.; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Al Griggs, of Lubbock, Texas, Lisa and K.T. Taylor, of Kingston; 8 grandchildren, Gretchen, Jennifer, Kathyrn, Jonathan, Stephanie, Joseph, Jason, and Tanner, and 7 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Austin, Peyton, Paxton, Natalie, Espyn, and Taya; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

George was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was also a life member of the DAV. He retired from Arizona Public Service after 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends, football, and anything outdoors on the farm. He loved the Lord and lived his life in a manner that God shall say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 28 at 4:30 p.m. at the Londonderry Cemetery, Londonderry with Pastor John Nunley officiating. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 – 3 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston.
