Freeman Conley

Freeman Conley, 89, of Adelphi, entered into his Heavenly home on Saturday, June 28, 2025 surrounded by loving family. He was born on August 22, 1935, in Hindman, Kentucky, the son of the late George and Stella (Thomas) Conley.

Freeman is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Dorothy (Danner) Conley; children, Nancy (Paul) Sowers, Lucky (Tonya) Conley, Jim (Karen) Conley, Bonnie (Dave) Hedges, and Allen Conley (Kelly Ryan); brothers, Clemon, Ancil, and Norman Conley; sisters, Larcenie Terry, Evelyn Thompson, and Bernice Holiday; 23 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Freeman was preceded in death by his son, Buddy Conley; brother, Chan; and sisters, Shredo and Flossie.

Freeman worked 17 years for Mohler Greenhouse, in Circleville, then went to work for Children's Hospital as a boiler operator, which he retired from after 27 years. He was the pastor of Pike Run Church, Londonderry, Ohio. Anyone that knew Freeman, knows of his love for the Lord and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Danny Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 - 7 p.m. at Hill's and an hour prior to the service on Thursday.
