Fred W. Bray, III

Fred W. Bray, III, 72, of Kingston, Ohio, formerly of Greensburg, PA, died Saturday, June 1, 2024. He was born Aug. 7, 1951, in Greensburg, a son of the late Fred W., Jr. and Ellen May Korody Bray. Fred was a former member of the GVFD Hose Co. #7 and was a member of the Ross County Conservation League.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Aston Bray; two sons, Fred W. (Beverly) Bray, IV, of Charleston, SC, and John R. Bray, of Kingston, OH; a daughter, Lori (Derek) Doles, of Richmondale, OH; seven grandchildren, Christopher Derringer, Sierra Croft, Dakota Doles, Kira Bray, Nathan Bray, Kendal Bray, and Colby Bray; two great-grandchildren, Clarence and Annalyn Derringer; a brother, Frank W. (Denise) Bray, of Irwin, PA; and two sisters, Mary Ellen Kane and Jean (Denny) John, both of Greensburg.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, Pennsylvania. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, in the Barnhart Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg, PA. Local care was entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston.
