Obituary

Flora Maye Riffle Maye Riffle, 74, of Hallsville, went to be with our Lord on May 13, 2013 at her daughter's home.   She was born June 13, 1938 to the late Dwight and Tessie Jones. Maye graduated from Centralia High School.  She worked many years in the Kingston area; first at the Kingston Cardinal Market and later at the Kingston Marathon.  Where she was renown for her baking and being known as "the pie lady". Flora Maye was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Riffle; son, Jeffery A. Shoemaker; sister, Thelma Newton and brother, Russell Jones. Surviving are her children, Cathy (Kenny) Wissinger, Scott (Carol) Riffle and Cricket (Andy) Chaffin; 5 grandchildren, Shauna and Tony Weyrauch, Travis, Taylor and Mitch Riffle; 3 great grandchildren, Brooklynn Riffle, Chloe Riffle and Konner Law; brother, Nelson Jones and sister-in-law, Gladys (Russell) Jones. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff and nurses at Logan Elm Health Care and Heartland Hospice for their exceptional care and concern. A memorial service will be Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ross Co.
