Fairy Loreah (Richards) Shaw Fairy Loreah (Richards) Shaw, 86, died peacefully on December 15, 2012 at Pickaway Manor.  She was born June 19, 1926 to the late Walter G. and Mary E. (Leist) Richards. Fairy graduated as valedictorian in 1944 from Washington Township High School. Upon graduation she worked as a secretary at Rickenbacker Air Force Base. Later she served as a medical transcriber at Berger Hospital and at the office of Dr. Emily Lutz. She received many gardening awards for her talent of growing roses and was a member of Pontious U.M. Church, Fairy once served as Financial Secretary. On April 7, 1948, Fairy married Richard (Dick) Cutright Shaw, who preceded her in death April 18, 2000. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Fern, and her brother-in-law, Paul Congrove. She is survived by her son, Dr. Dennis (Debbie) Shaw of Circleville, two grandchildren, Jennifer (Barry) Petty of Circleville and Josh (Sarah) Shaw of Batavia, and four great-grandchildren, Kimberly and Bret Petty, Savannah and Micah Shaw. Funeral services will be 12:00 on Thursday, December 20, at the Hill Funeral Home in Kingston with the Rev Wendell Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Circleville.  Friends may call at Hill's from 10:00-12:00 on Thursday.
