Edward Benheart Templin Jr.

Edward Benheart Templin Jr., 82, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026 at Westmoreland Nursing Home following an extended illness. He was born on July 2, 1943, in Argillite, Kentucky, the son of the late Edward Benheart and Julia Alice (Sullivan) Templin Sr.

Edward is survived by his nieces and nephew, Brandi B. Orloske, of Baker, Florida, Wendy Neal, of Groveport, and William Clouser Jr., of Frankfort; great-nieces and great-nephews, William Cody Clouser, Taylor Alexander Dam, Mary Allison-Bray, Rachel Ann Bray, Brandon Ford Clouser, Austin Neal and Riley Neal; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his brother, Wendell Templin; sister, Shirley Seigfried; and nephew, Larry Wilhelm.

Edward was a 1962 graduate of Centralia High School and went on to work for Tim White Construction. Edward had a passion for the railroad and steam engines. He was a proud member of the Ross County Railroad Club, Frankfort Historical Society, Moose Lodge, and Fraternal Order of Eagles. He will be greatly missed.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. Services have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Condolences and floral gifts can be made on Edward’s online guestbook at www.hillfhkingston.com.
