Edgar Charles Rigsby
Edgar Charles Rigsby, of Kingston, passed away at his home April 17, 2012. He was born September 26, 1928 the son of Simon and Minnie (Estep) Rigsby. On April 9, 1960, he united in marriage to Mary Kathryn Roll. He worked for 32 years at various grain elevators, retiring from Countrymark. He raised sheep and 4-H lambs for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Kathryn (Roll) Rigsby; daughter, Tammy (Michael) VanBuskirk, of Kingston; grandchildren, Eddie (Rebekah) VanBuskirk, of Beavercreek, and Carmen VanBuskirk, of Kingston; sisters, Emmy (Manford) Williams, Katie (Mike) Brown, Alice (Art) Founds; and sister-in-laws, Kathyln (Lonzie), Alice (Winford), Mary (Haden) Rigsby. He has many loved nieces and nephews.
Proceded in death was his father and mother; brothers, Lonzie, Ranzie (Haden), Robert, Winford, and Beecher Rigsby; sisters, Ver (Grady) Hitchcock, Flossie (Haden) Fyffe, and Clara Rigsby; and brother and sister-in-laws, Myrtle Mae and Harry Fosnaugh and Earl and Judy Roll.
They had very special neighbors Dave, Suzanne, Samantha, and Adam Grizzle, who were always willing to lend him a hand. Memorial contributions can be made to Adena Hospice.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove cemetery.
