Doug Ramsey, age 67, of Chillicothe, OH, passed suddenly from this life to his much anticipated heavenly home. He was born in Chillicothe to the late Marvin Knisley and Anna Belle (McCloskey) Knisley Ramsey. He was also preceded in death by his father, Francis Ramsey.
Doug leaves behind a son, Barton Ramsey, Chillicothe; grandsons, Andrew, Adam and Jaxon Ramsey, whom he dearly loved, as well as his former wife, Jan (Reisinger) Ramsey, Kingston OH. He is survived by sisters and brothers, Pamela Sue (Steve) Metcalf, Cookeville, TN, Pamela Jo (Tim) Clark, Gainesville, GA, Benjamin Ramsey, Chillicothe, Claudia (Joe Stephenson) Ramsey, Chillicothe, Tom (Pam) Ramsey, Chillicothe, Christine Knisley Boltz, Mobile, AL, and Michael (Patricia) Knisley; niece, Grace (Nate) Ramsey and very special friend and bible study partner, Tracy Cruz.
A 1972 graduate of Zane Trace High School, Doug worked as a union electrician for years and was the owner of Jet Electric, Chillicothe. He will be deeply missed by his family, church family and many friends. Doug loved serving his Savior by helping anyone in need and sharing his many gifts.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hill Funeral Home, Kingston, OH. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 2 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Jon Welch officiating at the First Wesleyan Church (89 S. Mulberry St., Chillicothe, OH 45601) with viewing one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, sympathy gifts can be made payable to First Wesleyan Church in Doug's memory.
