Dorothea "Dora" Nichols Dorothea "Dora" Nichols, 72, of Chillicothe, died at her home September 5, 2013.  She is survived by her husband, Robert Nichols whom she married on January 1963 in Germany before coming to Ohio. She was born in Liegnitz, Poland-Germany on February 22,1941 to the late Erick and Anna (Ahlfeld) Schroeter. She is also survived by brother, Gunter (Christa) Schroeter, Germany; children, Scott Nichols and Susan King, Columbus, Bonnie Johnson, Chillicothe, and Bill Nichols; grandchildren, Caleb and Lincoln Johnson; brother-in-law, Herman (Kay) Nichols, Chillicothe; and many nieces and nephews. Dora was preceded in death by a sister, Ericka Walz, Germany; brothers-in-law, Emmett and Earl Nichols.  Mrs. Nichols retired from Wyn Plastics, Circleville and was a dedicated member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Memorial services will be Saturday, September 14, 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 137 University Drive, Chillicothe by Ray Westfall.  Arrangements by the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.  Online registry at hillfhkingston.com.
