Donna Jean (Byus) Zwayer

Donna Jean (Byus) Zwayer, 65, of Springfield, passed away on October 23, 2026 at Mercy Springfield Regional Medical Center, Springfield. She was born April 3, 1961, in Springfield, the daughter of the late William Gerald and Norma Jean (Sherrick) Byus. On May 24, 1980, she united in marriage with her loving husband, Charles S. Zwayer, who survives.

Donna is also survived by her son, David (Heather) Scurlock; three grandchildren; siblings, Diana Lynn (Donald) Noble, of Springfield, William Daniel Byus, of Florida, and Debbie (Michael) Chandler, of Michigan; and numerous other family members and friends whom she cherished.

Donna was very creative and talented at making a variety of crafts. She loved to make quilts, crocheting, woodcarving, tole painting, and painting on canvas. She will be deeply missed.

In accordance with Donna’s wishes, Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Hallsville Cemetery, Hallsville.
