Donald Francis Dearth

Donald F. Dearth, 83, of Kingston passed Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 12:05 am.  Don was born September 27, 1931, the son of the late Lloyd Arlow and Lulu Marie (Hinton) Dearth. On January 5, 1949 he married the love of his life, Jacquelyn (Ross) Dearth, who preceded him in death December 28, 2007.

Surviving are two children, Deborah Dee (Robert W.) Roll and son, Donald "Dancy" (Tina) Dearth, who he has lived with the past 7 years; grandchildren, Angela (Shane) Congrove, Carrie (Zach) Stauffer, Travis Dearth (Sara Mettler), Trent Dearth (Vanessa Adams) and Troy Dearth (Catherine Minshall); geat grandchildren, Tanner, Cougar, Jagger, Griffin, Taylor and Macy; brother, Philip (Patricia) Dearth and sister-in-law, Betsy (William) Beavers.

Don retired in 1993 as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Ohio Operating Engineers, Local 18 District 3 Columbus, Ohio after 36 years. He enjoyed his family, playing cards, sports and whistling. He served in the US Air Force from 1952-1956 for the 464 Field Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, where he played softball, football and baseball.

Don was preceded by his parents and siblings, Emerald, Herbert, Evelyn, Mary, Richard, Dorene, Marcus, Ferne and Robert.

Graveside military services will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston, Ohio on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1pm.   Calling hours will not be observed.  Services by the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.
