Donald E. Coates Jr.

July 30, 1952 - April 8, 2026

Donald E. Coates Jr., of Pomeroy Ohio, formerly of Circleville, Ohio. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Mike; and sister, Debbie. He is survived by his nephew and niece, Casey and Jennifer, of Circleville; their children, Austin and Lane; ex-wife, Sandi; many other aunts, uncles and cousins; and a few select friends and neighbors. Most importantly, a loyal service companion that he loved more than life itself, Georgia. A german short haired pointer, that was removed from his possession due to Ohio Revised Code. Don's life was not the same once she was no longer by his side.

He graduated from Circleville High School and retired from state employment working on the Railroad. In his past time, he enjoyed adult activities and in younger years spent a lot of time around his pond and property, going to the Ohio River and fishing Lake Erie with his brother. He was not one for a lot of words, had a personality that had to be acquired but you would always know where you stood with him.

Per Don's request there will be no services, gatherings or any acknowledgement of his passing. His ashes will be shared upon his desiring and buried with his family.
