Donald Eugene Carroll

Donald Eugene Carroll, 82, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2018 at the Vineyards at Concord, Frankfort. He was born on July 23, 1936, in Kingston, the son of the late Howard L. and Regina (French) Carroll. On August 18, 1957, he was united in marriage with his loving wife, Deanna (Evans) Carroll, who survives.

Donald is also survived by his children, Michaelle (Larry) Carter, Marla Hastings, and Tyler (Laura Bray) Carroll; grandchildren, Brittney Carroll, Corey (Gina) Carter, Heidi (Trey West) Roeder, and Collin Carter; sister, Nancy (Ted) Brown; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Jackie) Fox; sister-in-law, Linda Carroll; special nieces and nephews; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother, John W. Carroll.

Donald was a 61 year member of the Green Township Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Logan Elm Lodge 624 since 1969. He worked as a Sheet Metal worker, including CV Metal, and was a quality craftsman.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Barry Bennett and Pastor Susan Britton officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Hill's with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m.
