Diane Marie (Elkins) Ebert

Diane Marie (Elkins) Ebert, 70, of Laurelville, passed away on May 16, 2026 at her home at her daughter’s house following an extended illness. She was born on July 27, 1955 to the late Bill and Thelma (Riddle) Elkins. Diane was a 1973 graduate of Logan Elm High School.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mitchell “Brent” Ebert; her parents; father and mother-in-law, Roger and Betty Ebert; her brothers, Rick and Ron Elkins, brother-in-law, Dave VanCuren and Mark Ebert.

She is survived by her son, Travis (Jill) Ebert; daughter, Tiffany (Eric) Platt; grandchildren, Braxton and Addison Platt, Cord Ebert, and Calla (Matthew) Dyer; and her first great grandchild coming in October 2026; sister, June (Elkins) VanCuren; brother-in-law, Matt (Kim) Ebert; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Gracie, who brought her endless joy and comfort.

Diane attended Cosmetology School at The Class Act, she started her career working at several salons before returning to teach at The Class Act. She then started her own salon in Laurelville, Guys and Gals Beauty Salon, where she was a Cosmetologist for over 25 years.
