Deborah Sue (Zickafoose) Timmons

Deborah Sue (Zickafoose) Timmons, 59, of Kingston, passed peacefully from this life at 8:32 p.m. on September 2, 2024 at Kobacker House after a courageous 3 year battle with breast cancer. She was born a Halloween baby on October 31, 1964, in Circleville, the daughter of Charles Eugene and Shirley Sue (White) Zickafoose, who survive. On April 5, 1986, she united in marriage with her loving husband of 38 1/2 years and love of her life, Craig Timmons, who survives.

She is also survived by her daughter, Erica Timmons; son, Branden Timmons; sisters, Sandy Zickafoose Pritchard and Angie Zickafoose Rucker; brother-in-law, Kevin Timmons; sister-in-law, Pamela (Frank) Brooks; special great-grand-niece and nephew, Xyla and Hendrix Barrows; special "adoptive" grandchildren, Sitara and Saketh, who are the children of her dear friend and oncologist, Dr. Mani Shylaja; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Aerial Timmons; father and mother-in-law, Kenny and Marguerite Timmons; and niece, Charlie.

Deborah attended Circleville Local Schools and graduated from Greenfield McClain High School Class of 1983. She went on to work at Blake's Coffee Shop in Greenfield, Goodwin's Restaurant in Circleville, Kitchen Collection in Chillicothe, Circle Plastics, Circleville, Special Designs in Grove City, and Vitatoe. Although the majority of her career was dedicated to healthcare housekeeping including Good Shepard Manor, Lucasville, Westmoreland Nursing Home, Heartland Nursing Home, Crestview Nursing Home, Lancaster, and over 20 years of service at Logan Elm Healthcare.

Deborah loved children and babysat for countless children in the Kingston area. Many local children considered her residence "home." She was a member of the Green Township Fire Department Auxiliary and was involved in helping with numerous local festivals and pageants. She loved decorating for Halloween and Christmas holidays and enjoyed camping. She will be greatly missed.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at the Kobacker Hospice House for their loving support and care for Deborah and the entire family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. at Hill's. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Deborah's honor to the Kobacker House (800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, OH 43214).
