David Allen Ludemann

David Allen Ludemann, 56, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025 at Kobacker House, Columbus, following a brief battle with cancer. He was born on April 13, 1968, in Defiance, the son of the late Robert Paul Ludenmann and Margine Sue (Knisley) Ludemann, who survives.

David is also survived by his siblings, Paul Ludemann, Susan Barraza, Bonnie Griesheimer, Todd (Ivy) Ludemann, Tammy (Steve) Martin, Ralph (Jayme) Ludemann, and Ashley (Justin) Roden; bonus mom, Lasetta Watters; nieces and nephews, Gino Barraza, Stephanie Barraza, Joshua (Benita) Ludemann, Kylea (Jacob) Stanton, Christian (Jaboa) Griesheimer, Keri Ludemann, Todd (Brittany) Ludemann, Logan Ludemann, Cheyenna (Austin) Collins, Brie (Dillion) Magill, Summer (Jonathan) Huddleston, Dara Ludemann, and Ralph Ludemann Jr.; canine companion, Shadow; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Henrietta Ludemann and Everett and Susie Knisley.

David was a 1986 graduate of Chillicothe High School and worked at Trimold, in Circleville, for almost 20 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a combat engineer. David loved playing video games and enjoyed sci-fi. He was also a dedicated family man and enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at a later date at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance, Ohio. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
