Connie Jean Echelbarger

Connie Jean Echelbarger, 84, formerly of Columbus, died peacefully on August 14, 2024 at National Church Residences of Chillicothe. She was born on March 1, 1940, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Paul and Edna (Davis) Echelbarger.

Connie was a 1958 graduate of West High School, Columbus, and was a member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church in Cliftonville. She worked at Lazarus in the credit office for over 30 years. She had a kind heart and loved everyone; her friends were truly her family. He favorite interest was watching TV.

She is survived by special friends, Frank and Martha Gramling, Jay and Jean Gramling, and childhood friends, Dianne and Connie Marie.

A special thanks to Sondra and all of the nurses from hospice for their dedication and care for Connie. Also thanks to the nurses and nurses' aides at National Church Residences for their care and kindness.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Mifflin Cemetery (218 Agler Road, Gahanna, OH 43230). Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Connie's honor to the Ross County Humane Society (2308 Lick Run Road, Chillicothe, OH 45601).
