IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clifford E.
Ream Jr.
September 26, 1949 – June 21, 2023
Clifford Eugene Ream Jr.
Clifford Eugene Ream Jr., 73, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2023 at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe Ohio. Cliff was born September 26, 1949 to Clifford and Katherine Ream in Adelphi Ohio.
He is survived by his daughter, Mindy (Troyce) Martin; granddaughter, Alexandrea Stump; grandson, Caleb Martin; great-granddaughter, Rylie Stump; siblings, Carolyn (Daniel) Wharton, Candy (Charlie) Karr, Cindy Ream, Curt (Renee) Ream; and other family members whom lovingly referred to him as "Brother."
Cliff was as proud a Navy Veteran as you would find. He felt great honor to follow in his father's footsteps by serving in the United States Navy from 1969-1973 on board the USS Mississinewa AO144 as a Radioman 3rd class Petty Officer.
He helped his fellow veterans and first responders by donating his time to the Laurelville Fire Dept and to the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe. Cliff drove a transport van taking veterans to appointments. He has even been known to buy coffee or meals at restaurants for strangers because he knew they served our country. He was a lifetime member of the Amvets and VFW. He has also served as Commander of the VFW Post 8657 in Laurelville, Ohio.
Cliff enjoyed fishing, especially with his brother, Curt. He enjoyed golfing, creating wood crafts, riding his motorcycle, but most of all he enjoyed the company of others. He had a very special group of neighbors where he lived that he called friends. He will truly be missed by all because Cliff has never met a stranger.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor James Vandagriff presiding. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi, with full military honors provided by the Ross County Veteran's Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. at Hills. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to Hills Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
